Replit announces International Office in London
by Dee Miller
Replit is having one of the strongest London rollouts we have seen from a tech company in some time.
Led by CEO Amjad Masad, the brand marked the opening of its first international office alongside Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Janet Coyle of London & Partners, before taking its arrival across the city through a sharp series of events and collaborations.

The programme included a session with the UK Government’s Incubator for Artificial Intelligence, focused on supporting more women to build careers in AI, followed by a Databricks panel and practical workshop exploring how businesses can create and deploy software faster without losing control of their data.

The standout moment came at Sea Containers’ Sunset Bar, where Replit brought its community together for a packed evening overlooking London. A special fireside conversation between Masad and Y Combinator co-founder Paul Graham delivered a simple message for the city’s next generation of builders: enjoy your side projects and side quests, and “create things you want and other people want.”
More than an office opening, the rollout felt like a genuine arrival. Replit connected government, enterprise, founders and emerging talent across a week of programming that placed the company firmly inside London’s fast-moving AI scene. A real moment for tech in the capital.
